Breaking! Marikana Report to be released 7pm tonight

We've just heard that President Zuma will release the Marikana Report tonight at 7pm on SABC.

This is the moment the amandla .mobi and Marikana Support Campaign community has been waiting for. The next 48 hours will be critical, we must keep up the public pressure.

We're up against a major propaganda campaign trying to paint the miners as having deserved being murdered by police. We have to remind our leaders that being shot in the back with R-5 assault rifles for simply asking for a living wage from Lonmin, is a travesty of justice we won't stand for.

Tonight as the report is released, we'll be analysing what the Farlam Commission of Inquiry's findings mean for our campaigns to:

- Stop police using R-5 massacre rifles to shoot our people at protests without facing murder charges

- Stop Lonmin hiding money overseas. Money which should go to promised compensation to the widows of Marikana, but also a living wage for miners.

- Hold SABC and eTV to account for their duty to tell the miners stories by screening Miners Shot Down

We'll be in touch soon with how we can use our collective people power to demand justice and stand in solidarity with the miners, widows and family members of those shot and murdered in Mzansi's first 'post-apartheid' massacre.

Together for justice,

Koketso, Fezile and the amandla .mobi campaigners.

P.S. At this critical moment, don't forget to share the above campaigns so we can turn the national attention on Marikana, into action that can win our campaigns.
